This website, thewhiteroomthailand.com, is run by [Thai company name and registration number – TBC] (“we”, “us”, “our”), which operates The White Room, a non-medical sober living residence in Khao Tao, Hua Hin, Thailand.

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

2. Information, not advice

The content on this website is general information about our residence, our approach and the area. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

The White Room does not provide detox, medical or psychiatric care. Please read what we are and what we are not before deciding whether a stay could suit you.

If you are in danger or in crisis, do not rely on this website or wait for a reply from us. In Thailand, call 1669 (emergency medical services) or 1323 (mental health hotline). Elsewhere, call your local emergency number.

3. Enquiries and stays

You cannot book a stay through this website. Sending us a message does not create a booking or an agreement, and we may decide that a stay is not right for someone.

A stay is only confirmed when we have both agreed to it in writing. Your stay is then governed by a separate resident agreement, which sets out the price, what is included, house rules, payment, cancellation and refunds. [resident agreement and refund policy – TBC]

4. Prices and availability

We try to keep the prices and other details on this website accurate and up to date, but they are a guide only and may change. The price that applies to you is the one we confirm in writing before your stay.

5. Client stories

Stories from people Fred has counselled are only published with the written permission of the person who wrote them. [consent forms collected – TBC] They describe their own experience. Recovery is personal, and we cannot promise that anyone will have the same result.

6. Copyright and photos

The text, photos, logo and design of this website belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to view, print and share pages for your own personal use, or to share a link to them. Please ask us before you copy, republish or use any of our content for another purpose.

7. Using this website

Please do not misuse this website, for example by trying to get unauthorised access, introducing viruses or other harmful code, or using it to send spam. We may change, suspend or withdraw the website, or any part of it, at any time.

8. Links to other websites

This website links to other services, such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps, and may link to other organisations’ websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. Our responsibility to you

We provide this website free of charge and “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or relying on, the information on this website.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Our privacy policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including anything you tell us about your health. This website does not use cookies.
